The plan requires that strict environmental access standards be implemented along the Yangtze River, and related construction projects such as petroleum processing, chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical fiber manufacturing, non-ferrous metallurgy, textiles, and hazardous chemical storage should be resolutely controlled.
