The "High Purity Neon" national standard revised by Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Company as the drafter was recently approved by the National Gas Standardization Committee. This standard fills the gap in the national standard of "High Purity Neon".

         As the market has higher and higher requirements for the purity of neon gas, the current version of the national standard "Pure Neon" can no longer meet user requirements. In 2010, the National Gas Standards Commission entrusted Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Company as the drafter to be responsible for the revision of the national standard of "High Purity Neon". WISCO Oxygen Company, Beijing Steel Oxygen Plant, Shanghai Huaai Chromatographic Analysis and other enterprises formed a drafting team to conduct in-depth investigation and analysis of the production of pure neon and high-purity neon products at home and abroad, and carried out a lot of verification work to determine the volume of neon gas. The accurate calculation of the coefficient K has laid a theoretical foundation for the revision of the national standard of "High Purity Neon".
