Notice on the announcement of the second batch of CNAs 2011 proficiency testing plans

The China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) has developed the second batch of proficiency testing plans for 2011 and is now being announced. All relevant units are requested to participate in accordance with the requirements of CNAS proficiency testing rules.


For detailed information about this batch of proficiency testing plans, please refer to Attachment 1 "CNAS 2011 Second Batch of Proficiency Testing Plans Catalog". Starting from the date of this notice, laboratories who want to participate in this batch of proficiency testing programs can directly register for the relevant program implementation agencies without sending the registration information to CNAS.


CNAS-RL02 "Proficiency Testing Rules" stipulates that as long as there are available proficiency testing activities, laboratories and inspection agencies should participate in at least one proficiency testing activity in each sub-field before being accredited; after accreditation, the accredited field Each of the sub-fields participates in at least one proficiency testing activity in each accreditation cycle. When there are specific requirements in different accreditation fields, specific requirements shall be implemented (see CNAS-AL07 "CNAS Proficiency Testing Fields and Frequency Table" for specific requirements for sub-fields and frequency, which can be downloaded from the "Proficiency Testing Column" of the CNAS website.).


CNAS requires laboratories and inspection agencies applying for accreditation and accreditation must prove their technical capabilities by participating in proficiency testing activities. Only those laboratories and inspection agencies that are satisfied with proficiency testing activities or whose unsatisfactory results can prove that they have carried out effective corrective measures will be accepted or accredited by CNAS; those who have not participated in proficiency testing in accordance with the prescribed frequency and field are approved and accredited For laboratories and inspection agencies, CNAS will take measures such as warning, suspension, and withdrawal of qualifications. Therefore, all units are requested to choose the proficiency testing program they should participate in to ensure that they can meet the requirements of CNAS.
