
Jay Gandhi, Manager of Regulatory Affairs of Metrohm USA, received the ASTM International Award of Merit from ASTM. This is ASTM's highly recognized personal contribution to the standard construction.
This honor is due to Jay Gandhi's work in the ASTM D19 Water Committee, his contributions to several standard test methods and the research of water-related inorganic components.
Since 2003, Jay Gandhi has led the long-term planning of D19 as the second vice chairman of D19. He is also an active participant in other ASTM groups.
During his scientific career, Jay Gandhi has developed many industrial and market-based applications through gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, ion chromatography, and mass spectrometry.
Prior to joining MassMutual in 2002, Jay Gandhi was a scientist at NASA's Johnson Space Center. In 2012, he became the Manager of Regulatory Affairs of Metrohm.
In addition to being an ASTM member, Jay Gandhi is also a member of the American Chemical Society, and has authored several technical books. Jay Gandhi holds a PhD in analytical chemistry from Gujarat University, a PhD in analytical chemistry and mass spectrometry from the University of Houston, and a master's degree in computer science.
